Greensboro Ranch is a country estate that has six picturesque acres offering privacy in this beautiful and peaceful tranquil setting where wildlife is abundant

Greensboro Ranch has two homes located on six acres 4 bedroom and 4 baths in the main house and 1 bedroom and 1 bath in the guest cottage. This elegantly comfortable country vacation home located on the top of a knoll in a 261 acre equestrian community. You will find 11 miles of riding and hiking trails making it the perfect vacation home for those looking for country estate privacy with all the ambiance one would expect for a elegant country home.

Both homes sit on a total of 6 acres of which 2 acres are beautifully manicured grounds. Privacy is not a problem as each home has its own separate driveway. The main house sits at the top of the hill on a knoll whereas the guest house sits at the bottom on the back side of the mountain. From the main house the guest cottage cannot be viewed. The guest cottage also has lots of privacy as the cottage faces the opposite direction. The built in swimming pool and spa is fenced and located on the back side of the main house. The pool and spa is only available to guests that have reserved the main house or to guests that have reserved the cottage in combination with the main house.

Main House Layout

The main house sits at the top of a knoll with far reaching views of the mountains and Community Lake. The floor plan is ideally suited for holiday and special occasion entertaining with a living room dining room combination. The Kitchen has been recently updated with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances and has about just about every small appliance and amenity a gourmet cook could ask for with even a full drawer of spices and herbs. The kitchen and breakfast room area opens into the Great room with both areas have mountains views and views that look over the private swimming pool and gazebo area. The family room as a wood burning fireplace with fireplace insert, television with DirecTV and DVD, full desk set up with high speed wireless internet, printer and fax for our guests working from home. The laundry room features a Maytag washer and dryer. The main floor guest bedroom has been decorated in a hunt theme and features a queen size bed and private bathroom that is adjoining and also serves as the main floor guest bathroom.

Living and Dining Room Area

As you enter Greensboro Ranch the step down Living room and formal Dining room awaits you.  The Dining room looks over the swimming pool and mountain ranges below.  (Sorry the fireplace is not available for use).

 

 

  

Kitchen and Family Room

The Kitchen and Breakfast Nook area has a wonderful view of the mountain range and looks over the gazebo and swimming pool.  The Kitchen opens on to the Family room on one side and the formal dining room on the other. The kitchen has just been updated with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.  The Family room opens into the kitchen area making it idea for family entertaining.  The wood burning fireplace is available during cold winter months for guest use.  A large sectional sofa with enough seating for eight guests.  For guests that need to keep in touch with work a desk with printer and fax machine is available.





 

 

Main Floor Guest Bedroom and Bathroom

Main Floor Guest Bedroom with Queen size bed with pillow top mattress.  This bedroom has an adjoining bathroom that features an equestrian jumping horse theme in both rooms.  The vanity has recently been upgraded with a granite counter top.

 

Take the spiral staircase up to the second floor and you will find two double doors welcoming you into this elegantly decorated Master Bedroom suite which features a luxurious king size pillow top mattress. The master suite has a retreat area with sofa, chair with ottoman and television with DirecTV and DVD. The Master Bathroom is spectacular and has just been remodeled with granite throughout and features huge soaking Jacuzzi tub and walk in shower with views of the lake below and entire mountain range. Two additional guest bedrooms are on the second floor both with queen size beds. Our race horse theme bedroom has a queen size bed with jockey themed lamps and the most amazing views of the mountains. The other guest bedroom is decorated in carousal horse floral theme. Both guest bedrooms share a full size bathroom that has been updated with granite counter tops. Upscale furnishings with Equestrian designer touches throughout complement the interior of this home.

Master Bedroom and Bathroom

The master bedroom has been elegantly decorated with a king-size extra comfortable pillow top mattress, down pillows and comforter, retreat area with sofa and television, a large walk in closed and a super size bath tub and retreat area.  (Sorry the fireplace in the retreat area is not available for use).   



   

Third Guest Bedroom and Bathroom 

Third Guest Bedroom has a Jockey Horse race theme and features a Queen size bed

Fourth Guest Bedroom

The fourth Guest Bedroom features a window seat and queen-size four poster bed .  This bedroom has been decorated with a delightful floral carousel horse theme.


Guest Cottage

The cottage is located at the bottom of the property on the back side of the mountain. The cottage has a lovely setting with a creek and oaks studded around the cottage. As you come down the driveway and walk around the side of the garage you will find the entrance to the cottage with patio and BBQ area in close proximity. Once inside the cottage you will be welcomed by the darling entry with our unique watering can chandelier and dining area with table and 4 chairs. The kitchen is opposite the dining area, living room features sofa that makes into a bed, lounge chair and ottoman, TV and DVD. The cottage is bright and cheerful with a number of windows throughout. The bathroom has been updated with vanity with a granite counter top, shower is over the tub. A separate computer workstation area has wireless internet, fax and printer with a separate telephone line. The master bedroom has a flat screen TV and features a queen size bed with feather bed over the mattress and has been decorated in a charming hunt theme.






Living room area features a super soft queen size sofa sofa bed as all the cushions are filled with down.  Matching Lounge chair and ottoman.  Living room has a 40" flat screen television, DirecTV, DVD and Ipod station.  Separate workstation with wireless high speed internet, fax and printer.    

Master Bedroom with Queen size bed with feather bed topper and custom Equestrian Bedding.  Bathroom with tub over shower. 

Exterior Grounds

The grounds and outdoor amenities are the best part of the main house. The backyard area has a large gazebo with a round patio table with lazy susan that has wide comfortable chairs that can accommodate 10 guests. During summer months the weather is so dry and delightful that you can sit and enjoy evenings under the gazebo late into the night as the gazebo is lighted and has a ceiling fan. The home features a built in swimming pool which is not heated however the spa is heated. The 4th bathroom is located on the exterior of the house in close proximity to the swimming pool and spa area.

Front Grounds Area

Front driveway leading up to the top of the knoll shows the many acres of landscaped grounds this beautiful property has.  Deers and wild turkeys live on the grounds of this home and can been seen quite often.  The lower level lawn is perfect or family picnics or spending some quite time reading a book while enjoying the scenery. 

Backyard Swimming Pool, Spa and Gazebo area

Sparkling swimming pool and heated spa with views that overlook Indian Lake.  Covered Gazebo area is ideal for having a family BBQ and while enjoying the perfect warm dry weather late into the evenings.

Equestrian Gated Community Amenities

Within the community lighted tennis courts and picnic areas by Indian Lake are available to our guests. Greensboro Ranch is located in an Equestrian Community and our neighbors can been seen riding horses through the community. (Sorry although we have stalls on the property we do not have horses available for our guests to ride).

Equestrian Riding at it's finest with 11 miles of marked riding trails where horses have the right away within this 261 acre horse community.  Picnic areas by Indian Lake and Tennis Courts are available for our guests enjoyment.  

  

The Cottage kitchen has a side by side refrigerator, electric range and microwave oven.  Fully stocked with top of the line pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker and crock pot.

THINGS TO DO:
Greensboro Ranch is situated close to the quaint town of Placerville which is at the foot of the Sierra Mountains. This is a fabulous vacation spot with tons of things to do such as River Rafting on the American River is only 5 minutes from the house. Take an adventure to where Gold was discovered in the town of Coloma which is only a 10 drive. Best yet we are located in the heart El Dorado and Amador County making it in close proximity to all the historic Gold Country towns and wineries. If Gaming is your pleasure you are in LUCK…we are only 3 minutes from the new RED HAWK Casino! If one casino is not enough take a trip to So. Lake Tahoe 55 minutues drive. GATED COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
Greensboro Ranch is located in an equestrian community with 11 miles of riding and hiking trails. Within the community you will find two lakes with a picnic,volley ball area, riding arena and lighted tennis courts. All these amenities are available to our guests so be sure to bring along your tennis rackets!
